DESCRIPTION
Bringing the best of the rustic aesthetic, this stunning garland features natural Hops for a decoration to last all seasons with their kiln-dried, sage-green finish.
The garlands consist of two or three of the hops vines, complete with hops, that have grown around a natural coir coconut string. Only the fullest garlands are picked for these decorative garlands once they have grown to around 2.5-3m long and 20-30cm wide.
They are then dried in traditional Hops Oast Kilns to create a preserved finish.
Ideal for a wide range of events and venues, these stunning garlands will bring a little bit of the Kentish countryside, perfect for weddings, pubs, cottages or anywhere you'd like to add a little rustic charm.
We expect these garlands to be available for delivery from early September, pre-order to guarantee your delivery this Autumn.
Product Care
Once your garland arrives, please ensure that you remove the item from the box as soon as possible and test the hops to ensure they haven't dried out in transit.
You can do this by gently closing the hops in your hand and then making sure that the hop reforms when you release it.
If the Hops shatter or do not re-form when closed in your palm, you can leave the box in a damp and dark cellar or garage overnight and this will re-condition your hops.
Hanging your Garland
Dried Hops are a brittle product so great care must be taken when hanging these garlands, some shattering and fall is likely, including hops pollen, so using a dust sheet is recommended to protect flooring and for easier cleaning.
We recommend that gloves and long-sleeves are used when hanging these garlands to avoid the risk of scratched and skin irritation.
Both nail hooks and wires can both be used to hang these garlands in your desired place.
